British Airways offers a wide range of destinations around the world along wiht hotels, car hire and complete holiday packages.
The airline is investing £5bn in new aircraft and services to improve the experience for passengers in the air and on the ground.
In 2013 the airline took delivery of the first of twelve Airbus A380 aircraft – the only commercial aircraft offering two full length wide-body decks. The A380 offers a total of 469 seats across four cabins flying to long haul destinations including Hong Kong, Johannesburg, Los Angeles, Miami, San Francisco and Singapore. BA also began flying the first of 24 Boeing 787 aircraft in 2013, the first airline in the UK to fly the A380 and the first in Europe to fly both the A380 and 787.
British Airways Passengers
Passengers on these aircraft are enjoying the new cabins and seats that have proved so popular on our 777-300ERs. Other customer benefits include better filtration offering cleaner cabin air on both aircraft, larger windows and less pressurised cabins to reduce jet lag (787) and quieter cabins with more storage space (A380).
Both of these new aircraft types are more fuel efficient than the aircraft they replace and contribute towards our targets for noise and carbon reduction.
The British Airways A380, 787, 777-300ER and some of our 777-200ER aircraft are fitted with the latest Thales in-flight entertainment system in every seat, offering more than 1,600 hours of content including a wide range of films, television programmes (including more than 200 hours of non-English programming), audio programming and computer games.
Passengers can choose between four cabins on our long-haul aircraft, First, Club World, World Traveller Plus and World Traveller.
